This is some oooold school techno. I wrote this many years ago and in 2009 I dug out the midi file and decided to spend some time applying new technology to it and updating it.

I had to spend a lot of time separating out the midi information then set about creating a new arrangement for it and  added a new intro. Somehow the new intro didn’t sound right at 128 so I slowed it down to just under 100 and spent a bit of time remapping the tempo increase. To my mind, this worked out really well. Some of the riffs were also previously layered and I stretched the song out slightly and removed some of the layering, so the stronger riffs  get a bit more space to breathe and have their own time in the sun.

From time to time I re-tweak Fedaykin, but I don’t see it changing drastically from here on, though the mix needs to be tweaked and I’m sure at some point I’ll revisit the drums and perhaps one or two of the sounds.

For now though, here’s some unashamed techno noise 🙂
